Dr. Tom Mahendra graduated the medical school from the University of Colombo Faculty of Medicine. He did his internship at the St. Lukes Hospital and completed two residency programs: one at the Texas Heart Institute and the other at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. A fellowship followed at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine soon after that. He is specialized in Thoracic & Cardiac Surgery and board certified in Thoracic Surgery. Dr. Mahendra has been in practice for more than 20 years and is affiliated with the Antelope Valley Hospital. During his career, he has also contributed to 3 publications of medical interest.
