He did his internship at the St. Lukes Hospital and completed two residency programs: one at the Texas Heart Institute and the other at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. A fellowship followed at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine soon after that. He is specialized in Thoracic & Cardiac Surgery and board certified in Thoracic Surgery.
