Dr. Chowdbury studied as a medical student at the Institute of Postgraduate Medicine and Research in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Dr. Nepal Chowdbury studied as a resident at the Harlem Hospital Center in New York and, with a 30 years long career, he currently practices as an attending, after having completed a fellowship at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. Dr. Nepal Chowdbury has a board certification as a thoracic surgeon, specializing as a peripheral vascular surgeon, cardiac and general thoracic surgeon. He is a member of the cardio-thoracic surgery network and a diplomat of the American Board of Thoracic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery.
