Dr. Collin Joyo is a renowned thoracic and cardiac surgeon in Newport Beach, California. He received his medical diploma from the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine in 1977. After getting his medical degree, he did an internship at St. Louis University School of Medicine. Dr. Joyo completed his medical education with a residency in thoracic surgery at the University of California San Diego and a residency in general surgery at the University of Hawaii. He is certified by the America Board in thoracic and cardiac surgery. His subspecialties are: general cardiac/thoracic surgery, minimally invasive thoracic surgery. He works at Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian and has published four articles in cooperation with other doctors. Dr. Joyo is also a member of the American College of Surgeons.
