    Dr. William Grizzle is a renowned pathologist in Birmingham, Alabama. He received his medical diploma from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 1977. He completed his medical education with a residency in anatomic pathology at Vanderbilt University in 1979 and a residency in clinical pathology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1981. The post doctoral fellowship in Biomedical Engineering was completed at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He has also studied biophysics at Johns Hopkins University, chemistry and physics at Harvard University. He is certified by the American Board in anatomical and clinical pathology. Currently, he works at the University of Alabama Hospital. He is Professor of Pathology, head of the Pathology Program for Translational Research in Neoplasia and director of the Tissue Collection and Banking Facility. He published many articles, in collaboration with other doctors.
