Dr. William Asher is board certified in radiology, as well as a specialist in radiation oncology and diagnostic and interventional radiology. He is also board certified in hospice care and palliative medicine. Dr. Asher graduated from the Ohio State University College of Medicine and did an internship at Naval Medical Center, where he also completed his residency. A fellowship program, at the University of New Mexico, followed. Having a medical career of over 20 years, Dr. William Asher is also the recipient of several awards, such as Borden Research Award and Zollinger Outstanding Student in Surgery, as well as a member of the Radiological Society of North America. At the time, he is affiliated with multiple hospitals and medical centers in Alabama, including Thomas Hospital and Springhill Medical Center.
