Dr. Stephen Gruber is a renowned medical oncologist and also the Director of the USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center. He is a board certified medical oncologist, epidemiologist, and cancer geneticist that focuses particularly on genetic and environmental improvements to cancer. The main goal of his research is to discover new ways to prevent cancer and to increase treatment and care for cancer patients. Dr. Gruber got his BA Degree from University of Pennsylvania in 1984 and after a while an MA Degree from Yale University in 1986. After he received his Doctorate Degree from Yale University in 1988, Dr. Gruber got accepted at the University of Pennsylvania Medical School and earned his Medical Degree in 1992 where he also finished his internship and residency. Later on, he did two fellowships one in medical oncology, at Johns Hopkins Hospital and one in clinical medical genetics at the University of Michigan. Dr. Gruber earned a series of honors and awards and is the author of over 150 publications. He has been in practice for more than 20 years and is affiliated with the USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center and Keck Medical Center of USC. During his career, he has also contributed to many research papers.
