She graduated from the Indiana University School of Medicine and did her residency in internal medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. She also did a fellowship in hematology/oncology at the New York Presbyterian Hospital. With nearly 20 years of experience, she currently practices at the St. Luke’s Medical Center.
