Dr. Robert Kim is a radiation oncology specialist in Birmingham, Alabama that currently works with many local hospitals, such as Birmingham Veterans Affairs Medical Center and Children's Hospital of Alabama at UAB. He graduated from Yonsei University College of Medicine where he got his medical degree. He did a transitional year Internship at The Medical Center Inc. Dr. Kim did two residency programs in ophthalmology, the first one at National Instituted of Health Clinical Center and the second one at UCSF. After this, he also completed three residency programs in radiology, radiation oncology and anatomic and clinical pathology, all three at University of Alabama Medical Center. Dr. Robert Kim is board certificated in therapeutic radiology and has a practical experience of more than 20 years.
