    Dr. Richard Kaplon is a board-certified Thoracic and Cardiac surgeon based in Sacremento, California. He did his medical schooling as well as a residency in General Surgery at the NYU School of Medicine. Later on, he did a fellowship in Thoracic Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Dr. Kaplon has been practicing for more than two decades and is currently associated with the Mercy San Juan Medical Center, Mercy General Hospital, and Mercy Medical Center Mount Shasta.
