Dr. Mahan Matin is a pathologist from Sacramento, California. She graduated from the Kashan University of Medical Sciences and Health Services. Afterwards, she continued her studies with a residency program at the UC Davis Department of Pathology. Dr. Mahan Matin is a cytopathology fellow at the UC Davis Department of Pathology. Her professional interests are women’s health and cytopathology. Dr. Matin is licensed to practice medicine in California. She has also contributed to several published studies that covered the following topics: squamous cell carcinoma and adenocarcinoma distinction, Fibrous hamartoma of the index finger, anemia with increased bone marrow ringed sideroblasts, negative effects of the granulocyte-macrophage-colony-stimulating factor.
