Dr. Larry Kaiser is a cardiothoracic surgeon at the Temple University Hospital Cancer Center in Philadelphia. He studied at Tulane University and graduated as a medical student in 1977. With two residencies completed, one at the University of California in Los Angeles, and another at the University of Toronto, Dr. Kaiser also completed his fellowship at the University of California. Dr. Larry Kaiser specializes in cancers and tumors of the thoracic area, mainly mesothelioma, but not limited to it. Dr. Kaiser is twice board certified in general surgery and surgical oncology. He later completed residencies in thoracic and cardiovascular surgery. Focusing on the development and evolution of a camera-assisted surgical intervention method, Dr. Kaiser helped make cancer treatment more efficient and less dangerous for the patient.
