Dr. Katherine Loon graduated the medical school from the Medical College of Georgia School of Medicine and completed her residency program at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. A fellowship followed at the UCSF soon after that. Dr. Loon is specialized in oncology and board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology. She has been in practice for more than 6 years and is affiliated with the San Francisco General Hospital and the UCSF Medical Center. During her career, she has also contributed to numerous publications of medical interest.
