Dr. Karen Lindfors is a radiologist based in Sacramento, California. She has an extensive medical experience of 38 years. Dr. Lindfors graduated in 1979 from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. She has a degree in public health granted by the Yale University following her master studies. Mrs. Lindfors completed an internship in surgery at the Boston University and a residency at the Massachusetts General Hospital that allowed her to specialize in diagnostic radiology. Afterwards, she completed a fellowship in oncologic radiology at the same medical institution. Dr. Karen Lindfors is specialized in diagnostic radiology. She is a member of the Society of Breast Imaging. She also has extensive experience as a teacher in the field of medicine. She worked at the Harvard Medical School as an instructor of radiology. She has been teaching at the UC Davis School of Medicine since 1985. Dr. Lindfors also carried on a research activity, studying and writing about breast imaging and breast cancer. At the moment, Dr. Lindfors practices medicine at the Sutter Medical Center in Sacramento and University of California Davis Medical Center.
