Dr. Karen Garby, board certified in diagnostic radiology, received her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia School of Medicine. She completed her residency at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, which was subsequently followed by a fellowship program in interventional and vascular radiology, at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. With a career in medicine of over 20 years, Dr. Garby has contributed to several publications and is also a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology. At the time, she is affiliated with Banner Baywood Medical Center and Banner Heart Hospital in Arizona.
