The Chief of Thoracic Surgery at the Veterans Affair Medical Center, Dr. Eric Lambright, has completed his medical school studies at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Dr. Lambright’s internship was completed at the same university, and so were his fellowship in Thoracic Oncology Research and residency in Cardiothoracic Surgery. Dr. Eric Lambright has two board certifications, in general and thoracic surgery. His specialty in malignant lung cancers, lung transplantation and lung failure surgery recommend him as an experienced surgeon for several types of cancers, including mesothelioma. Several articles published by Dr. Lambright focus on the treatment of small cell lung cancer and benign diseases.
