Dr. Shipley graduated the medical school from the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards. She did her internship at the Allegheny General Hospital-Western Pennsylvania Hospital and completed her residency program at the Charleston Area Medical Center. A fellowship followed at the Wake Forest University soon after that. She is specialized in Medical Oncology and board certified in Oncology. Dr. Shipley has been in practice for more than 20 years and is affiliated with the TriStar Centennial Medical Center. During her career, she has also contributed to various publications of medical interest.
