Dr. Akil Merchant graduated from the Baylor College of Medicine and also completed his residency program there. Then, he pursued a fellowship at the Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Merchant is specialized in Hematology and board certified in Medical Oncology. He has been in practice for more than 11 years and is affiliated with the Keck Hospital of USC.
