    Graduating from Grant Medical College in 1981, Dr. Andaz went on to complete residencies at Bronx Lebanon Hospital and Maimonides Medical Center. Dr. Shahriyour Andaz completed his studies as a fellow at the UCLA Medical Center in thoracic oncology, and also studied as a fellow at the Royal College of Surgeons in Glasgow and Edinburgh. Native of India, Dr. Andaz is currently the director of thoracic oncology at the South Nassau Communities Hospital in Long Island and specializes in the treatment of advanced types of lung cancer, including mesothelioma. With board certifications in general surgery and thoracic and cardiac surgery, Dr. Andaz is recommended by a career with over 2 decades of experience.
