A fellowship in hematology/oncology followed at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Dr. Balaraman is now specialized in medical oncology and board certified in medical oncology and hematology. She has been in practice for more than 20 years and is affiliated with Ocala Regional Medical Center and Munroe Regional Medical Center.
