    Dr. Parvez Sultan got his medical degree from Brown University School of Medicine. He began his surgical training at the University of Texas at Houston, MD Anderson Cancer Center and Herman Hospital. A residency in general surgery at University of Alabama followed soon after his surgical training. Dr. Parvez Sultan completed his medical studies with a fellowship at Barnes Jewish Hospital. During his medical career, he also trained in lung and heart transplantation at the same hospital where he completed his fellowship. Furthermore, Dr. Sultan is board certified in surgery and thoracic surgery and currently works at 4 hospitals including St. Vincent’s East.
