Dr. Awan graduated the medical school from the University of Tennessee and completed his residency program at the Pitt County Memorial Hospital. A fellowship followed at the University of Tennesse soon after that. He is specialized in Pulmonology and board certified in Internal Medicine, Critical Care Medicine and Pulmonary Disease. Dr. Awan has been in practice for more than 11 years.
