Dr. Liu graduated the medical school from the Hunan Medical University and completed his residency program at the Lahey Clinic. Two fellowships followed soon after that: one at the University of California-Davis and the other at the Oregon Health & Science University. Dr. Liu is both specialized and board certified in Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery. He has been in practice for more than 20 years and is affiliated with the Doctors Medical Center. During his career, he has also contributed to five publications of medical interest.
