Dr. Simmons graduated the medical school from American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine and completed his residency and fellowship programs at Medical Center of Central Georgia. He is specialized in Oncology and board certified in Hematology. Dr. Simmons has been in practice for more than 6 years and is affiliated with Augusta University Medical Center and Charlie Norwood Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
