Dr. Cernilia graduated the medical school from the Tulane University School of Medicine and completed his residency program at the University of California Irvine. A fellowship followed at the Tulane University soon after that. Dr. Cernilia is both specialized and board certified in Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery. He has been practicing medicine for more than 20 years and during his career, he has also contributed to three publications of medical interest.
