A highly experienced medical oncologist, Dr. Gerald Clamon is currently practicing at the Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center in Iowa City. He completed the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and went on to residency at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital. He completed his medical studies with a fellowship at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and National Institutes of Health in Bethesda. Dr. Clamon specializes in hematology, oncology and treating different types of lung cancer, mainly mesothelioma, which requires a great deal of expertise to be treated effectively. Dr. Gerald Clamon has published several important works in the field, with many being used today to develop improved treatment techniques.
