Dr. Achilles Demetriou graduated the medical school from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem Hadassah Medical School and completed two residency programs: one at the Vanderbilt University and the other at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Jacobi Medical Center. He is specialized in general surgery and board certified in surgery. Dr. Demetriou has been in practice for more than 20 years. During his career, he has also contributed to various publications of medical interest.
