Dr. Talmadge King is proud to be a member of several famous medical associations such as the Institute of Medicine of the National Academy of Sciences. He is also a reputable academic, he began teaching at the UCSF School of Medicine where he later became a dean and a vice chancellor for medical affairs. He also collaborated with the Priscilla Chan and Mark Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center. He has conducted numerous studies that focused on his area of expertise. Some of his predilect topics are immunologic and inflammatory lung injury, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, and interstitial pneumonia, He published more than 300 studies. He has also written a book called Interstitial Lung Disease. Dr. King practices medicine at the San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center and at UCSF Medical Center.
