Palliative treatment, or palliative care, is a treatment approach which focuses on improving the patient's quality of life by alleviating their symptoms. This type of treatment is frequently recommended to patients who suffer from cancer, or other severe conditions, and aims at reducing their pain and discomfort while also providing emotional support.
