Mediastinoscopy for Mesothelioma & Lung Cancer Patients

Free Chest X-Ray Evaluation

Mediastinoscopy is a technique that enables the doctor to observe the center of the chest and the lymph nodes close to the lungs, where the lung cancer first spreads. This technique involves a small cut made at the base of the neck and a tube with a light at the end is introduced. Apart from observing the area, the surgeon is able to take samples of the cells and lymph nodes.
