Laparotomy for Mesothelioma & Lung Cancer Patients

Free Chest X-Ray Evaluation

Laparotomy is a traditional abdominal surgical technique that involves an incision normally 6-14 inch that allows doctors to examine the organs, diagnose any cancer and determine its stage. It is recommended in cases of pleural effusion to determine the cause of the build-up fluid. It is performed under general anesthesia. Biopsy may be performed on abnormal tissue or fluid.
