Thoracoscopy for Mesothelioma & Lung Cancer Patients

Free Chest X-Ray Evaluation

Thoracoscopy is a simpler and safer method of investigating the inside of the chest. It involves a thorascope being inserted through a small opening in the skin between the ribs. This procedure allows doctors to look inside the chest and identify signs of mesothelioma, such as pleural plaques, inflammation or nodules. The procedure allows for tissue samples to be collected and sent for examination to pathologists.
