Dr. Sims graduated the medical school from the University of Louisville School of Medicine and completed his residency program at the VA Medical Center. A fellowship followed at the University of Texas Health Science Center soon after that. He is specialized in Pathology and board certified in Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology. Dr. Sims has been in practice for more than 20 years and is affiliated with the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. During his career, he has also contributed to 8 publications of medical interest.
