Tetracycline

Tetracycline is an antibiotic used to treat a large number or bacterial infections of the skin, intestines, respiratory tract, urinary tract, genitals, lymph nodes, the infection that causes stomach ulcers (Helicobacter pylori).

U N C O M M O N side effects

severe headache, blurred vision,
skin rash and hives, breathing difficulties,
sore throat, abdominal pain,
loss of appetite, fever or chills,
vomiting, yellowing of the eyes and skin,
low urine output

(Pleuritis)

Tetracycline is administered orally on an empty stomach (one hour before meals or two hours after). Each dose should be taken with a glass of water and it is recommended to avoid lying down for 10 minutes after you swallow the tablet.
