Dr. Kapil Dhawan is a pulmonologist based in Sacramento, California. He has been in practice for 17 years. Dr. Dhawan graduated in 2000 from the University of the West Indies, Faculty of Medicine, St Augustine, Trinidad. He did his internship at the St. Agnes Hospital. He completed two residency programs at the Flushing Hospital Medical Center and the University of Florida, as well as two fellowship training programs at the University of Florida and the Ohio State University Hospital. Dr. Dhawan is a board-certified specialist in Critical Care Medicine and Pulmonary Disease. He is the co-author of a publication on drainage techniques for biliary atresia. Dr. Kapil Dhawan is currently affiliated with the Mercy General Hospital, Sutter Medical Center, Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital, Mercy San Juan Medical Center, Sutter Davis Hospital, Sutter Solano Medical Center, Mercy Medical Center Mount Shasta, and the Sutter Roseville Medical Center.
