What organs and regions of the body can be examined using MRI?

The MRI scanner can provide detailed images of internal organs, bones, joints and soft tissue such as cartilage or muscle, being particularly useful in detecting subtle abnormalities within the body. Tumors, cysts and nodules can be efficiently analyzed using MRI, as well as fractures and ligament or tendon injuries.

The most commonly performed procedures include the examination of chest organs (heart, lungs), abdominal organs (stomach, liver, spleen, pancreas, kidneys etc.), pelvis organs (bladder, uterus, ovaries, prostate gland), brain and spinal cord, thyroid gland, blood vessels and lymph nodes.

We wanted a resource where people who are looking for better help can find it, because one of the issues that I have found is that the diagnosis takes a little bit, some people don’t know if they are diagnosed or not. This is something that it is important enough, that is why I wanted to put the information together.
