Dr. Roscoe F. Morton is a Medical Oncology and Hematology Associate at the Cancer Center of Iowa.
He graduated medical education at the Colorado Collage in Colorado Springs, where he graduated with a B.A. in Biology in 1972. He completed medical school at the University of Kansas (with honors) in 1976 and was elected as a member of the Alfa Omega Alfa Honor Medical Society. In 1979, Dr. Morton has completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Kansas, School of Medicine Wichita Campus.
At the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine in Rochester, in 1991 he completed his fellowship in medical oncology.
Dr. Roscoe Morton is a member of North Central Cancer Treatment Group, Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group and member of National Surgical Adjuvant Breast and Bowel Projects.
Dr. Morton is certified in medical oncology and internal medicine.
He published over 40 research articles for the North Central Cancer Treatment Group.
He was an investigator regarding colon and rectal cancer, breast cancer, lung cancer, mesothelioma and melanoma.
Most of his publications were based on mesothelioma and lung cancer, presenting treatments and results and primary medical research.
Dr. Morton has been honored with important award for his great work in cancer related diseases.
