Dr. Nasser H. Hanna is an associate professor in the division of hematology/oncology at Indiana University Melvin and Bren Simon Cancer Center. His clinical interest is in thoracic oncology, more specifically the study and management of all forms of lung cancer. He is also involved in a thoracic oncology program involved in many studies involving the various aspects of lung cancer research including areas of epidermal growth factor receptor inhibition, anti-angiogenesis, cell-cycle inhibitors, and novel chemotherapeutic agents. Hence, he is a very active and research intensive mesothelioma doctor.
He has more than 15 years of experience and graduated from University of Missouri, Columbia in 1995. Thereafter, he undertook a residency University of Iowa, Iowa City, IA from 1996-1998. Finally, he pursued his fellowship from the Indiana University Medical Center, Indianapolis, IN from 1998-2000.
