Dr. Loggie was born in Montreal, Canada, graduated his pre-med studies at the Loyola College in Montreal, Canada in 1974 and earned his medical degree in 1979 from McGill University in Montreal. He did training, an internship to be exact, at the Department of Surgery, Montreal General Hospital and completed his residency in surgery in 1986 at the same Montreal General Hospital, in Canada.
During his residency in surgery, Dr. Brian W.Loggie completed his Graduate Studies at the McGill University in the Department of Experimental Surgery. After this, Dr. Loggie completed his Clinical and Research Fellowship in Surgical Oncology at the Division of Surgical Oncology, at University of Illinois, in Chicago. He received his certificate of training in surgical oncology from the University Of Illinois School Of Medicine.
Dr. Loggie is a Diplomat of the American Board of Surgery since 1990 and Professor of Surgery at Creighton University Medical School in Omaha Nebraska. He is also the chief of the division of Surgical Oncology and Director of the Cancer Center at the Creighton University.
