A not-for-profit organization located in West Michigan, it operates a number of facilities, including a medical center, regional community hospitals, a dedicated children's hospital, a multispecialty medical group and a nationally recognized health plan, Priority Health. It also provides post-acute services, including rehabilitative, long-term acute, home and residential care.

Data of all kinds is collected, including patient data, safety data, and it is all available to the public.
