The Rush University Medical Center is part of the Rush University Medical College located in Chicago, Illinois. The center offers about 70 residencies and fellowships program, highly selective, in medical and surgical specialties.

The mission of the Rush Medical Center is to provide the best medical services for the community, using novel and advanced techniques to cure cancer.

The center is very dedicated to the community, in addition of that they have had created and offered a program which is designate to address the social and health care needs of residents in the neighborhood communities, called the Rush Community Services Initiatives Program.

Rush University Medical Center is committed to advancing medical knowledge trough research work and studies. They are actively involved in hundreds of clinical studies focused on the effectiveness and safety of the new therapies and medical devices tested into their laboratories.

Rush Medical Center is recognized as a local and a national leader in the same time, in health care, thanks to their medical programs developed trough the years in areas like: all types of cancer including mesothelioma cancer, lung cancer, heart cancer, bone cancer, breast, brain, colorectal and gastrointestinal cancer and many others, in geriatrics, orthopedic, surgery, pediatrics, primary care and women’s health.
