Our Lady of the Lake’s (OLOL) Cancer Center is located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and it is known as a part of the OLOL College, an independent and private Catholic College founded by the Franciscan Missionaries.

The comprehensive cancer center at the OLOL offers high quality medical services for cancer patients, the most advances techniques of chemotherapy, hormonal therapy, immune therapy, radiation therapy, peripheral stern cell transplant, clinical trials and clinical research.

The OLOL Cancer Center together with the Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center developed a comprehensive cancer care program, for cancer patients, and it has been accredited in 1992 by the American College of Surgeons.

Together, this two cancer institutes are offering the most outstanding cancer care programs and the most advanced treatments and patient care available to Louisiana citizens.

The OLOL Cancer Center works closely with the Mary Bird Perkins` Care Network to provide free cancer screening programs for patients with breast cancer, lung cancer, mesothelioma, prostate cancer, skin cancer and colorectal cancer. Trough the year they are trying to offer free screening for patients with no money possibilities. Most important services offered by the cancer center are: inpatient care, outpatient treatment, cancer research, cancer fit, cancer registry, pastoral care and patient family resources.
