Moffittt Cancer Center is located in Tampa, Florida, and it is known as a National Cancer Institute Comprehensive Cancer Center. Founded in 1986, the Moffitt Cancer Center, along the years, developed personal care programs for cancer patients; also the center has established an excellent tradition in cancer patient care, based on specialized treatments, calm atmosphere, compassion and hope.

For each mesothelioma cancer patient the center provides a different cancer care program and supportive activities. They are focusing on the patient as an individual, so they are preparing different treatments and therapies for cancer patients, especially for mesothelioma patients.

The Moffitt Cancer Center is developing various scientific researches based on molecular oncology, drug discovery, immunology, experimental therapeutics, health outcomes and behavior, risk assessment, detection and intervention. They provide a full range of screening programs and they also elaborate the Total Care Cancer study which is a program designed to perform state-of-the-art cancer research.

Total Cancer Care is also called “personalized medicine” because this is a program that is focused mostly on the human genetics and it is able to provide vital information about the cancer patient’s tumor. Moffitt`s Cancer Center mission is to “contribute to the prevention and cure of cancer disorders” and also to give hope and compassion for people in need and also for the cancer patients families.
