Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center is one of the nations largest comprehensive cancer center. The Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center has established an international reputation for their research work in cancer care area, for theirs ways of developing new cancer therapies by providing in the same time experimental and traditional treatments for all types of cancer. For the control, prevention, treatment and education of the cancer this comprehensive cancer center has over 350 people and clinicians engaged and totally dedicated to the research work for malignant cancer.

Researchers and scientists are working together as collaboration, for best results in their work regarding cancer prevention and control of this disease. Physicians are also working for the cancer center; they are completing the team which is dedicated in finding the cure for all types of cancer. The most known therapies used by the JCCC are: Herceptin, Gleevec, and Sprycel. These are known as the successful target therapies, which are developed on basic science performed in the JCCC`s laboratories and clinical trials. Most important is that the JCCC offers specific programs for mesothelioma cancer patients. They offer individualize education and counseling, program of genes, heredity and cancer.
