Dr. Arthur J. Movius set up his general practice in Billings, Montana, way back in 1911. A hundred years later, the Billings Clinic is the region’s largest multi-specialty group practice with 46 specialties, including mesothelioma, and serves a 4-state region. The Billings Clinic Cancer Center is one of only 10 organizations in the U.S. to be selected as the pilot site for the National Cancer Institute's Community Cancer Centers Program (NCCCP). In addition, the Center conforms to the guidelines established by the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN).

The 272-bed Billings Clinic is a not-for-profit health care organization. It is owned and managed by the community, and is the community’s largest employer with more than 280 multi-specialty physicians and non-physician providers.
